Chemical Farming

Inorganic fertilizers give immediately the nutritive ions which are highly soluble but will not help in improving the soil texture and microbial population and ultimately the unused chemicals will percolate down reaching the aquifers and in the long run render the water unsuitable for irrigation.

In chemically managed soil, the plant nutrients are supplied only through inorganic source, without any organic carbon source to derive food. This ultimately deprives the soil-eco system of the growth medium. See the difference between inorganic and organic farming practices.
